Bird Kingdom

Inspiration for my Bird paintings have been taken from gardens both close by and from distant places. I try to depict bird portraits in a funky way but also as part of larger paintings with greenery and natural environment. In most of my bird painting I use pigments which have a natural sheen to them and in others I add glass flakes and the like.

Some of the bird paintings have been mounted in a passe-partout others are best seen without any mounting with raw edges and framed in a floating frame.
